WINNER OF BEST TELEVISION CAMPAIGN

A ballot initiative was initiated to remove collective bargaining from the San Antonio Police. In response, the San Antonio Police Officer’s Association (SAPOA) began a full court press to counter this effort.

We were engaged to model likely municipal election voters and target modeled persuadable voters with messages around the core issues of collective bargaining and civil service. We deployed unique creatives across OTT, Interstitial video, display banner, Facebook and Instagram using both positive and negative imagery.

An initial poll was commissioned in late summer when we were hired to determine a baseline for support and then a follow-up poll after 6 months of the digital campaign. In that time, the we were able to significantly move numbers among likely municipal election voters:

Support for Defund the Police: DOWN 4%
Oppose Defunding the Police: UP 9%
Support for Collective Bargaining: UP 31%
Opposition to Collective Bargaining: DOWN 13%
Support for Civil Service: UP 4%
SAPOA Favorability: UP 4%
BLM Favorability: DOWN 11%

We moved every single poll number favorably for the client in that time.
